How do I delete a Critical Incident Report?
Critical Incident Reports cannot be deleted because we need to keep a clean audit trail of all items entered. Reports may be reclassified though if for any reason you do not want them to show up in the summary reports. Reasons for allowing this are;
- Reports entered in error, they can be reclassified as Error.
- Someone could have been entering test data while learning the system, they can be reclassified as Test.
- Two reports could be entered by two different individuals, one of the reports could be reclassified as Duplicate.
To reclassify a critical incident report;
- Click Management
- Click Critical Incident Reports
- Click Critical Incident Report: Individual Review
- Locate and click once on the incident report you need to reclassify
- Click the Reclassify Report Button
- Click the Radio Button to the right of the type of issue (Error, Test, Duplicate).
- Click Submit Button
