We’re new at this. How would you suggest we integrate the CARF® standard’s requirements, your documents, tools, and resources, and our current practices?
There are various methods that may be useful to prepare for a CARF® accreditation survey. A first step may be to attend an initial introductory training that CARF® provides throughout the year in various locations around the country. You can find a schedule of trainings at www.carf.org
You may choose to seek consultation to support your accreditation process. Consultation can be adapted to the needs of your organization. It may range from a general introductory on-site training for staff, to a short “mock-survey” to assist you in developing an accreditation action plan, to ongoing assistance with implementation of policies and procedures to prepare for an accreditation survey. Accreditation Now can provide you with on-site consultation through a referral process that ensures you are provided with a consultant who has a proven track record with CARF® accreditation preparation. In addition, references can be provided to ensure your organization will be matched with the right consultant. Contact us at info@accreditationnow.com if you are interested in on-site consultation.
